Survivors including Shang-Chi, Katy, Yelena Belova, and others unite to fight the relentless undead threat.
A Darker MCU Experience
This miniseries carries a TV-MA rating, marking Marvel Animation’s first entry into mature storytelling. Known for intense gore, horror themes, and a grim tone, Marvel Zombies stands apart from the MCU’s lighter animated ventures.
Voice Cast Highlights
- The series boasts an all-star cast, featuring:
- Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel)
- Hailee Steinfeld (Kate Bishop)
- Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova)

Marvel first introduced the concept of zombified heroes in the What If...? episode “What If… Zombies?!” The popularity of that storyline pushed the studio to expand it into a dedicated miniseries. With its darker narrative, Marvel Zombies could pave the way for more adult-oriented Marvel Animation titles in the future.
